How do I check the status of my order?

If you are unsure about the status of an order you have placed with Melbourne IT, it can be checked using the tools in your account.

To begin, log in and select "View all orders"

You will see a list of orders placed through your account - select the one you need to check

In this example, we have opened up order number 3164439:

We can see here that this was an order for Small Business Exchange email which has been completed - this service would be showing as Active under the "Manage services" area of the account.

Going back to the list of orders, we open up order number 3110378

We can see here that this is an order fro the renewal of a domain name with DNS management and the small business exchange trials. However, the status (in orange) is "In progress (payment approved, pending provisioning)".

This means that the payment for the transaction has been approved by the card provider, but that the order is awaiting processing. As most orders are completed automatically, this is often an indication that there is an issue with the order.

If the order still shows this status after around 48 hours, it's a good idea to make contact and confirm if there is any further information you need to provide in order to complete the order.
