# Professional Email Setup

Setting up your **Melbourne IT Professional email** is a breeze, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way—from creating your user account to adding your email to your devices.

## Creating a new user:

1. Head to your MelbourneIT client area and find your Professional email service
2. In the Manage your service section, click the “**Admin login**” button, it will open a new tab
3. Find the tabs on the top of your page and click “**more**”
4. Click “**domain settings**”
5. Select “**new**” in Users section

## Setting up your email on your device:

***Pro tip:***\_ If your email app (like Gmail or Outlook) offers automatic settings, give those a try first—it’s usually the quickest way! Prefer to go the manual route? No problem, just follow the steps below, and we’ve got you covered.\_

| **Outgoing Server Port** | No need to change anything! Most Internet Service Providers (ISP) block port 25 for their own outgoing emails. Port 465 may also be used. | **Professional/business:** 587 (SSL)                              |
