When you intend to transfer your domain name you need to acquire your domain password. They can be regenerated as needed and can easily be found within your customer portal at anytime. Please follow the below steps to retrieve it.
  1. Log into the portal at melbourneit.au
  2. Head to the Products and Services tab to find the domain in question
  3. In the Manage your domain name section you will find the button to “Get EPP Code”
  4. The code will popup, allowing you copy and record the code
Note: Different registrars may call this code different names! .CO.UK Domains .CO.UK domains have a slightly different process for transferring and do not have regular EPP codes. Please follow the below steps to transfer a .CO.UK domain name:
  1. Retrieve the IPS-TAG from your new registrar
  2. Contact our support team via case, chat or call with the new IPS-TAG
For transferring your .CO.UK to us, please use the IPS-TAG MELBOURNE-IT Note: Some registrars may have a ‘handshake’ enabled. The gaining registrar has up to 5 days to accept the transfer before the request times out, which means the transfer will have to be attempted again. start the process again.
