How do I manage my DNS on cPanel?

What is DNS and what are zone records?

DNS stands for Domain Name System and is like a phone book that tells visitors where to find what they're looking for like your website or emails. Zone records, comprising A, MX, CNAME, TXT, and other types, establish the link between your domain and its online services. For instance, the A record connects your domain to your website, while the MX record connects your domain and emails. Zone records are essential for the proper functioning of the associated online services.
