FAQ: Why Can't I Be Invoiced For Domain Renewal?

Unfortunately, Melbourne IT can not provide invoices in advance of a domain registration renewal. This is due to the agreement we have with the regulatory bodies associated with TLD registries. Registrants have the freedom to select their next domain name Registrar of Record and thus cannot be invoiced until they have explicitly elected to renew their licenses with Melbourne IT. Additionally, Registrants are required to re-confirm their eligibility for the domain names prior renewal of the license.

There are specific instructions in the renewal notifications sent to you regarding how to pay for your domain renewal. Once a domain name renewal fee is paid, you will receive an invoice.
