How do I recover the UDAI code for my .nz domain?

The Unique Domain Authentication Identifier (UDAI) is a case-sensitive, eight-character-long "password" which is a randomly generated unique identifier for every Internet NZ domain name (code ".nz"). The UDAI is made up of letters in both upper and lower case as well as numbers. The UDAI is the password for the domain and can be used to transfer the domain to a new registrar. UDAI is also known as Authorization Code (Auth Code).

To recover the UDAI code for your .nz domain, please follow the steps below:

1. Log into your Melbourne IT MyAccount.
2. Select "Manage domain names” and double-click the domain to go to the Management screen.
3. Click “Show” beside Auth code. Please see image below.
